Angela is an associate attorney at Sgro and Roger. Her focus is in civil litigation and family law. Prior to starting at Sgro and Roger, Angela served as a law clerk for the Honorable Adriana Escobar in Department 14 of the Eighth Judicial District Court. While working as a law clerk, Angela played an intricate role in preparing the Judge for a vast array of civil motion practice, and participated in three civil jury trials, various bench trials, and a criminal jury trial.
Angela attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she was a member of the Nevada Law Journal and the Student Bar Association. She was also the Vice President of the Public Interest Law Association and the Community Outreach Chair of the Organization of Women Law Students. Angela also served as an extern to the Honorable Bill Henderson in Department R of the Family Division of the Eighth Judicial District Court, and as a research assistant at the UNLV Law Library. Angela had the opportunity to gain relevant work experience in the legal department at Southwest Gas, working for the City Attorney for the City of Henderson, and working as a representative for LexisNexis. She also had the opportunity to participate in Nevada’s 2017 Legislative Session as a lobbyist intern for Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie.
Angela is originally from New York but was raised in Las Vegas. Prior to law school, Angela obtained a degree in Political Science and Communication from Boise State University. After graduating from Boise State, she spent some time working at a radio station in Boise, Idaho. In her spare time, Angela enjoys spending time with family and friends, photography, and traveling.
