Alanna C. Bondy

Alanna Bondy graduated cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2018, where she received numerous awards for her academic achievements. Alanna is passionate about the practice of law and is a zealous advocate for her clients. Alanna practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense and business litigation.

Since her time began at Sgro and Roger, she developed a knack for exposing the worst in any opposing counsel’s strategy. Indeed, while at Sgro & Roger she was integral in obtaining the largest settlement ever obtained against the Clark County School District. Her $9 million settlement against the District is a historic achievement. In the criminal defense side of her practice, she has been successful on behalf of numerous clients in post-conviction matters, including pardons and time-reductions. Alanna brings a strong sense of courtroom dynamics and legal knowledge to her litigation practice. Her reasoned and academic approach to her cases has resulted in favorable results for her clients, both in her civil and criminal practice.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, and traveling.

Colleen N. Savage

A Las Vegas native, Colleen graduated from Bishop Gorman and received her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Philosophy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She graduated from Creighton University School of Law and previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rob Bare in the Eighth Judicial District Court.

Colleen has a broad range of experience in federal and state court defending criminal cases and litigating complex civil matters. She has litigated federal criminal cases across the United States including Nevada, Arizona, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Florida and Missouri ranging from white collar crimes to capital murder. Colleen has developed a specialty in handling quasi-criminal matters and has successfully kept families together when threatened by CPS and defended businesses against the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission under the threat of prosecution. Colleen also routinely handles administrative disputes and defends licensed medical professionals against the Nevada State Board.

Colleen currently serves on the Board of Directors for Boys Town Nevada, a national charity that has helped children and families for over 100 years. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time with family and friends and attending Golden Knights games.

Danielle E. Dumire

Danielle is an associate attorney at Sgro & Roger, representing clients in a range of personal injury, criminal, and family law matters. She is devoted to helping her clients obtain the most favorable outcome in the resolution of their cases. Danielle joins the firm after completing a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Eric Johnson in Department XX of the Eighth Judicial District Court. During her term, she assisted the Court render decisions in various civil and criminal matters. She also gained invaluable trial experience working on medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and felony cases.

Danielle obtained her Juris Doctorate from the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV. There, she earned a CALI Award in Dispute Systems Design, taught guardianship classes to the public, and authored a thesis on strict products liability. Danielle also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Stefany Miley and Honorable Eric Johnson. Danielle was the first in her family to attend college, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California Santa Barbara. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Danielle enjoys practicing Pilates, spending time with her dogs, cooking, and traveling.

David J. J. Roger

Retired Clark County District Attorney David Roger is General Counsel for the Las Vegas Police Protective Association. David represents approximately 2800 Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Officers and Las Vegas City Marshalls and Bailiffs. David is also a Partner with the law firm of Sgro & Roger.



David was Las Vegas’ top prosecutor from 2003 to 2012. Clark County voters elected David as District Attorney in 2002 and re-elected him in 2006 and 2010. During that time, David supervised 160 prosecutors and 600 investigators and support staff.



Prior to being elected DA, David was a Chief Deputy District Attorney for over 15 years. During that time, he was assigned to the Major Violators Unit where he prosecuted capital murder cases. During his 25-year career as a prosecutor, David handled thousands of cases and approximately 80 jury trials including 38 murder trials.



David became a household name in 2000 when he successfully prosecuted and convicted Richard Tabish and Sandra Murphy for the murder of casino mogul Ted Binion.



While he was District Attorney, David prosecuted and convicted former NFL star running back O.J. Simpson for an armed robbery he committed at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino.



David and defense attorney Anthony P. Sgro became friends early in their careers, and actually tried several high profile criminal cases against each other. Mutual respect and capabilities eventually led not only to a strong friendship, but also a strong legal partnership. Anthony is also the godfather of David’s daughter.



David has received significant recognition from his peers in the legal community. In the Martindale – Hubbell legal guide, David has the “AV” rating, which is the highest rating for professional and ethical standards.



David is a Fellow with the American College of Trial Lawyers. The college members are the top trial lawyers in the United States and Canada.



David is also past President of the Nevada District Attorney’s Association and a former Director with the National District Attorney’s Association.



A longtime Las Vegan, David graduated from Bishop Gorman High School in 1979. He went on to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he majored in accounting and graduated in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. David earned his law degree from California Western School of Law in 1986.



David is married to Judge Susan Roger. The couple has one daughter, Holly Marie Roger.

Jayme N. Martinez

Jayme Martinez graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, William Boyd School of Law, in 2009. She joined Sgro and Roger in 2012, bringing with her a warmth and generosity that our clients have come to love and appreciate. She has participated in more than 35 civil and criminal jury trials and has an affinity for complex litigation. She also has a keen sense for crafting trial strategy.

Since she has been at Sgro and Roger, she has practiced primarily in the areas of personal injury criminal defense and serves as a licensed family law mediator.

She believes that empowering parents to work together is the best way to preserve a healthy co-parenting relationship when sharing custody of children. In her other matters, she has conducted and participated in numerous felony cases, and has been instrumental in the resolution of tens of millions of dollars in personal injury settlements and trials. She also participated in one of the most unique cases in Nevada history, where she investigated a case that was originally deemed a suicide by law enforcement. Largely based on her unrelenting investigation, law enforcement later reconsidered their position, and the “suicide” was reclassified as a homicide. The individual in question, who was originally set free when the police ruled the homicide a suicide, ultimately was arrested, pled guilty and went to prison.

She is a mother to three beautiful daughters, and relies on yoga, music, and travel in her spare time to stay balanced.

Jennifer W. Arledge

Jennifer Arledge began her career in 1994 at a boutique law firm in Columbus, Ohio, representing corporate clients such as Wendy’s, Honda America, Columbus Airport Authority, and Community Housing Network in business matters, as well as individuals in probate, estate planning, and real estate transactions. Desiring to return to her small hometown, Jennifer took a position with the Ohio Public Defender’s Office and served as the only Juvenile Public Defender for several years before opening her own solo practice. Jennifer was able to build a solid general law practice, built from the referrals of her prior satisfied clients.

In 2002, Jennifer moved to Las Vegas and began focused her practice on personal injury and civil litigation. Since moving to Las Vegas, Jennifer has handled personal injury cases for both the Plaintiff and the defense. Taking what she has learned from being on both sides of various personal injury cases, she possesses a well-rounded perspective of how personal injury cases are be most effectively litigated. Her clients include medical device manufacturers, including motorcycles, pumps, and plastics. Since joining Sgro and Roger, she has expanded her practice to include employment law and business litigation. In fact, she has successfully concluded millions of dollars in transactional agreements just in the last few months.

Jennifer is frequently an invited feature speaker and panel member at national legal industry conventions. In 2022, Jennifer was nominated and recognized as one of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys.

In her free time, Jennifer enjoys live music, hiking, and visiting State and National Parks with her husband.

Joshua J. Judd

Joshua was raised in Las Vegas and graduated from Palo Verde High School. He then spent two years on an ecclesiastical mission in Uruguay before completing his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University. After completing his undergraduate degree, Joshua returned to Las Vegas to attend the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Joshua, while in law school, interned at the Nevada Attorney General’s Office, before joining a real estate litigation firm. Following law school, Joshua clerked in the Eighth Judicial District Court for the Honorable Douglas Smith and the Honorable Cristina Silva, both of whom handled split criminal-civil dockets.Ultimately, he joined the Clark County District Attorney’s Office.

Joshua joined Sgro & Roger after having spent several years as a Deputy District Attorney at the Clark County District Attorney’s Office. His prior experience relates to all phases of the criminal litigation process, including in post-conviction appeals and petitions, as well as civil litigation matters.

Outside of the workplace, Joshua enjoys watching and participating in sports. His favorite hobby, though, is spending time with his wife and three kids.

Kimber L. Laux

Kimber Laux was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she learned to love the heat. (It’s a dry heat!) As a high schooler she developed a passion for storytelling and in 2015 graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Media Studies and Sociology. Kimber began working at the Las Vegas Review-Journal in 2013, where she covered stories about local crime and the courts, which sparked her desire to become an attorney and inspired her to represent her fellow Southern Nevadans.

Kimber attended the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV while continuing to work part-time at the Las Vegas Review-Journal. In the summer of 2017, she worked as a law clerk on civil rights cases and also interned for the Honorable Judge Jerry Wiese. During the summer of 2018, she worked as a law clerk at the ACLU of Nevada.

While at Boyd, Kimber was an executive board member of PILA and OutLaws (a law student organization focused on LGTBQ advocacy), and was a member of Immigration Law Society, the Organization of Women Law Students, and the Health Law Society. Kimber co-instructed a weekly Paternity and Custody course at UNLV. She also worked for the Family Justice Clinic as a student attorney, working on cases related to guardianship, adoption, and Special Immigrant Juvenile Status.

In 2019, Kimber obtained her Juris Doctor from Boyd, receiving awards for her work in the Family Justice Clinic.

Kimber was licensed to practice law in Nevada and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada in 2019.

When she’s not representing Nevada families, Kimber enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, snowboarding, and reading. A true dog lover, she has two of her own.

Tony P. Sgro

Anthony P. Sgro is a partner and founding member of Sgro & Roger, LLC. After attending the University of San Diego for both his undergraduate education and law school, Mr. Sgro returned to Las Vegas and began practicing primarily in the area of criminal defense. In short order, he became a “death qualified” attorney and focused on defending those charged with capital murder offenses.



After trying numerous cases, Mr. Sgro used his unique trial experience to branch out into other areas of law, including personal injury, entertainment, and business law. Remarkably, he found his trial skill set transferred to those areas as well. Since the beginning of his career, Mr. Sgro has tried over 125 jury trials in both the civil and criminal arena. Most notably, as trial counsel, Mr. Sgro secured numerous acquittals in criminal cases including acquittals in extortion cases, drug cases, sexual assault cases and murder cases. He has been awarded millions of dollars by way of jury verdicts in medical malpractice cases and in personal injury cases. He also secured the largest slip and fall personal injury verdict to be awarded against Walgreens corporation, as well as a real estate trial verdict in excess of $55 million. Notably, that same trial experience allowed him to resolve the largest settlement for a single plaintiff personal injury case in Nevada history, which exceeded $30 million.



Several years ago, Mr. Sgro once again expanded his practice and business interests. He had the privilege of representing, and routing Prince’s 2013 West Coast tour, which spanned 13 U.S. cities. Most recently, his legal experience has allowed him to participate in the gaming arena, including both local and overseas gaming operations.



Years ago, Mr. Sgro teamed up with long time friend David Roger to create the firm that exists today. Mr. Roger is the former District Attorney for all of Clark County, Nevada, and he served in that capacity for approximately 25 years.

Zachary D. Peck

Zachary D. Peck was born and raised in Connecticut, and spent several years in Las Vegas before returning to Connecticut to attend Quinnipiac University School of Law. He focused his law school experience on criminal law, externing with a local public defender’s office, the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Nevada, and multiple criminal defense firms. Zachary also served in the law school’s criminal defense appellate clinic, where his brief on behalf of an indigent client earned the law school’s award for excellence.

After law school, Zachary relocated to Tampa, Florida where he began his career with the Hillsborough County Public Defender’s Office before moving to a highly regarded criminal defense firm in the Tampa area. He has defended individuals accused of a broad range of offenses, including DUI, battery, drug and weapons possession, sex crimes, and homicide.

Zachary returned to Las Vegas in 2020. Prior to joining Sgro and Roger, he served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ellie Roohani in the Eighth Judicial District Court, managing a split docket of criminal and civil cases.

Outside of the office, Zachary enjoys traveling, playing poker, and providing long-distance support for his University of Connecticut basketball teams.
